The Old North is the quieter half of central Tel Aviv. Developed in the 1930s and 1940s, the neighbourhood stretches roughly from the Yarkon River south to Arlozorov, and from the sea inland to Ibn Gvirol. The character is residential, leafy, and decidedly less performative than Rothschild or the seafront.
Established Families' Neighbourhood
This is the neighbourhood that local families with money have lived in for generations. The streets — Hey BeIyar, Shlomo HaMelech, Pinkas — carry an established, slightly understated quality. For international buyers with school-age children, the Old North offers proximity to good schools and a daily rhythm closer to residential Paris than to a tourist city.
